Tried again on Medium and it was ok, so looking good. However checking the graphic settings showed everything at High or better by default. Then did a quick race at Brands - performance terrible. Apart from the trademark annoying Kunos wheel animations when using a pad (bugs the hell out of me in AC, no different here), everything else looked good - pad handling nice out of the box, performance ok.

Slightly longer version - initially just did a free run at Brands in the Bentley, to see what the pad handling felt like and see how it performed with everything at default. It was just too good to pass up because of lack of VR.Bought it this morning, the short version is - just requested a refund after about 1.5 hrs But as it progressed, it became a top notch GT3 sim, and it actually brought back to screen racing. I was highly disappointed with VR in the EA period, and thought if VR didn't improve, I wouldn't be interested. But now it's "okay", still room for improvement. Back then, I considered it unplayable in VR. It's definitely improved a great deal since the EA and initial release. And, like I said, even on the Oculus, it's not the same quality VR experience as other sims. I have an Oculus Rift, but I know a lot of people are reporting different experiences with other headsets.
R.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1Where do I find this file? I didnt really use one for single 4k but now with triples it really seems to hit the CPU harder so needed to work on settings. This is the Engine.ini i use and it allows for best CPU performance while not just removing shadows, AO and SSR ! Still looks like ACC but somehow gives more performance, ive got so many different ini files in a ACC folder in order of performance and visuals and this is my favorite.
